Principal Yvonne Browne studied at the Andrew Hardie College in South Kensington and went on to teach for the Dublin City Ballets full time student course and Childrens school, holding workshops for educational schools and also performed for Dublin City Ballet in Coppelia, and Les Sylphides.

Principal Yvonne Browne

After 2 years in Ireland Yvonne went on to perform professionally in Singapore, Korea, and the Far East and numerous European tours. Yvonne also performed in Professional Pantomimes and Summer seasons back in the UK. But Yvonne's love of teaching lead her to open her own dance school in Gidea Park providing classes in Ballet, Tap, and Modern with a very high success rate and outstanding results in I.S.T.D Examinations Yvonne was invited to teach the boys and girls at The Woodlands Preparatory private schools in Warley and Hutton Manor as part of the curriculum and taught there for 2 and half years. Pupils have also taken part in Performances at Her Majesty’s Theatre London, giving the pupils the wonderful opportunity to perform on a West End Stage. Yvonne was proud to be asked to become a teacher for the Angelina Ballerina Dance Academy and was also asked to perform in the Queens Jubilee Show at Hyde Park. Pupils have also performed at Disneyland Paris in a full length show choreographed by Yvonne. Yvonne is qualified with the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing and is an Acrobatic Arts Module 1 Teacher. Yvonne is an Associate Artiste for the Royal Opera House Outreach Programme Chance to Dance teaching dance in Primary Schools, which gives children a chance to perform at the Lindbury Theatre in Covent Garden, London. 2020 has brought unpresidented times but Yvonne still wanted to provide children dance classses so transferred classes to zoom. And now is pleased to be reopening classes at our venue with full government guidelines aheared to.
